OT - Eragon: The Movie

I'm kind of looking forward to this film after reading the first 2 parts of the trilogy. It doesn't look as good as "Lord of the Rings", but at least has more adult content than the Harry Potter films.

I have Eragon and Eldest and haven't read them yet. I guess I'll have to hurry up and read them before the movie comes out.

I believe Paolini stated by sometime late 2007. Without saying too much, the movie does seem to have strayed a little from the book. We'll see though.

Looks cool. Hopefully we will see a Thor movie with the same kind of graphics we saw in the Lord of the Rings.

Wouldn't that be awesome! I really hope they do sink some money and great graphics into a Thor movie if/when they do one.

The movie should be interesting but how come they don't make a "Dragonriders of Pern" movie first...
