I used Photobucket for these listings instead of the usual Ebay Photo Hosting service. Read about it in these forums . Much better detailed scans and its free! Why dont more Ebayers use it?

because then buyers would be able to tell the 'actual' grade of books, instead of relying on vague overgraded descriptions?

Yep, Pretty much agree on that assessment matt.

hear where your coming from .. but, seems to me that bidders hold back when the description/scan is vague (know I do). When your selling quality comics, accurate descriptions and good scans yield better bids .. and also curtail buyer's remorse (and the subsequent price adjustment requests) .. bottom line: both buyer and seller want a fair transaction with mutual satisfaction which results in future repeat business ..Or am I being too PollyAnnish?
