And is Detective #394 considered the last SA issue with #395 introducing the new darker Batman/Detective Comics to the BA??

394 is also the last issue cover-dated in the 60's, and 395 is Jan 1970, so it makes for a nice milestone in a number of ways.

I think Adams is predominantly known as a Bronze Age artist. Most of his best known works are all during this period: GL/GA, Batman, and his run of Detectives. That said seeing his Silver Age stuff on this thread is really a treat, those Deadman covers are absolutely fantastic.
