More Fun Comics #54, CGC 5.5. What's this worth?

Seems quite high to me obviously, but still, I'd love to own this. If this were from a different seller and started at a penny, what do you think this would end up selling for?

The make offer option indicates a willingness to go lower, but this sellers rep is so bad, I'd be hesitant on a high dollar book even if it's slabbed. I guess this considered THE classic Spectre cover, but the guide value indicates that's already been accounted for. My guess is in the right venue it could be a 5K book.

Although More Fun #54 is an iconic book, it's not something that's rare in the marketplace. Copies change hands often enough that with any luck you'll find the perfect copy for yourself at some point without having to buy from a disreputable seller.

I saw the book as well. This seller always has good "stuff". Too bad the person can't be trusted. Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
