Who's watching that Whiz #25 with 3 hours left on eBay...

This copy last sold in Feb of '04 for $2760. With 3 hours left in the auction, it's only at $709, and there's no reserve. The seller has 100% feedback, but only 31 of them, and only 2 as a seller.

 

Perhaps more importantly, I emailed him two days ago asking if he'd mind telling me where he got the book(the scans look lifted from Heritage), and he/she hasn't responded.

 

Could be a hijacked account, or someone might be about to get a great deal. Tough call...

Seems like a pretty obscure (and relatively low dollar) book to run a scan with. Then again, that might be the genius of it.

...yes, and non-registered users also. No one has 31 feedback with 1/3 or more of the people who previously left feedback either no longer registered or private feedback users....statistically impossible. Throw in the lack of bidding and previously used image....and you have a good old fashion case of FRAUD
