Let's see the REAL 1st appearances -- "1st panels" wanted !

I would LOVE to see, and I'm sure others would also, the TRUE 1st appearance of a key or semi-key character....but it requires opening your books!

 

The cover images of Detective 27, Adventure 40 , Pep 22 , All American 16 and Action 1 are forever burned in my memory....but I don't remember ever seeing from the interior of these books the actual, actual, actual true 1st appearance, which would be the "1st panel" the character ever appeared in. As my contribution, which was posted with some fanfare in another thread....here is the 1st panel/1st appearance of 'Bob Scully the Two Fisted Hick Detective' by Humor form 1933...I would appreciate others sharing theirs!

Well then the 1st actual appearance of Superman ( 1st panel ) ..is of him as a baby....that's very interesting..I did not know that!

I have never read any reprint (or original ) from Action #1

In some cases, like with Spectre, you will have the promo head shot that pre-dated his first appearance in More Fun #52.
