Durden08
Neither book does much for me, but I'll have to lean towards the MM #1. I believe DC had a 2nd printing of TEC #2 on used toilet paper and I'd like to avoid those editions.
showcase4
While neither book is really blowing my skirt up, I would have to go with the Tec #2 due to: rarity, historical signifigance of being the #2 book in such popular, long lasting title, and the very cool and unique cover art associated with this issue. Mystery Men #1 is a little too for me....but still would be a neat book to own.

ashrael
Mystery Men #1 for me because the right edge of that 'Tec 2 was used as toilet paper by some bum at the end of the great depression

shiverbones
the Mystery men wins this one for me, that book is just too cool. If the tec 2 was more presentable, maybe it would win, but who knows...
shiverbones
glad you like the new avatar Bill, it came from a comic I got from an awesome guy!
october
MM 1 for me, no question. It's Lou Fine! Tec 2 is historic, and incredibly tough, but that's definitely not one of my favorite Flessel covers.
adamstrange
Ok, we've got a 3-3 tie on the 'Tec #2 vs. the Mystery Men #1, and I'm no more convinced on my mild MM vote than I was before reading the explanations. Anyone else have a strong feeling on this one? MM 1 for me because it is the more appealing copy. Nothing wrong with the Tec 2 if you need it to complete a run, but I figure that I would enjoy handling and looking at the MM 1. Tan pages are bit of bummer, though. ciorac
MM 1. I would hold out for a better looking copy of the Tec #2 Again I agree with 1koko. I like this guy!

rjpb
the Mystery men wins this one for me, that book is just too cool. If the tec 2 was more presentable, maybe it would win, but who knows... Ugly 2.5 - light tan pages I can live with.
G.A.tor
hello all... I have to mildly agree...the Tec 2 is cool, but not the "best" in the run...I am not particularly a fan of Marvel Mystery, but from a purely aesthic view point...MM for me rick
