Hi guys, I am thinking of getting a scanner and was wondering what is a decent one to get that is able to scanbooks, including a cgc container. What kind of pirce range am i looking at. Thanks

You need to get a scanner that uses the old style flourescent bulb... they have a deeper field of depth and can sharply scan slabs.

 

Scanners with the LED style scan light do not scan slabs well.... very blurry.

 

The CanoScans have the LED lights as do some HPs.
