Why is overstreet unrealistic?

Now that Overstreet has been sent packing...er... relocated to Mississippi,

does this mean that Arnold will be taking over the helm of

gathering the information for the price guide?

 

IIRC, Arnold doesn't work for Overstreet at all anymore (the 3rd edition OGG was his last for them, again, IIRC)

I wouldn't have any problem having Overstreet listing lots of 80s to present as "nominal" instead of $3.00. I do have an interesting dollar bin scenario though. A friend of mine bought a copy of Rootie Kajootie in a quarter bin at A-1 Comics recently, listed it in his ebay store, and sold it pretty quickly blush.gif near-guide at $9.99. So is this a quarter comic? Or a $9.99 comic?
