PGM Tales to Astonish #27

Please let me know if anyone thinks it might also be trimmed. This is the best scan I have. I think its about a FN. No tanning, pages are off-white.

if it is trimmed it certainly is a bad trim job (or an old one, which is unlikely) considering the left upper corner.... it does however look like the beginning of "tales to ashinish" is alarmingly close to the upper edge.... but i dont have a copy for comparison so i will leave the judgement of the trimming to those have that...

 

Other than that i think you are close with your FN grade,,, would tend to lower it it to 5.5 due to the corners , dirtyness on the cover and that crease... still good eye appeal

the right edge is most likely just miscut-very common on silver age marvels. careful examination of the right edge should help. Does the edge feel unnaturally sharp?

that top edge looks weird but i'll leave it up to the experts. i think the 5.0 - 5.5 guesses are pretty accurate. nice looking book...............

It is NOT trimmed and I'll go with a 6.0 myself... fantastic book!!!

There's a long skinny chip out along the bottom right over the green ant's antenna right?

That would prvent a full Fine imo.
