I would like to add another category and pick my favorite...or in this case favorites:

poster with the best line by line disection of a debate with a witty, "gotcha" response and use of alot of these: 893scratchchin-thumb.gifmakepoint.gifinsane.gif27_laughing.gif893naughty-thumb.gifsleeping.gifflowerred.gifdevil.gif

2 way tie: Goldust and Mica

To me its FFB.

If there were a "Nice Guy" category I'd give it to House of Comics, 143ksk,nearmint,skybolt and pointfive. I'm sure there are a lot more but these guys contribute a lot of positive stuff on the boards and are a credit to the hobby.IMHO

100% agreed as to all of them. Nicest guys around! 893applaud-thumb.gif

I'd like to add another category...

Most likely to make your "want list" to grow... Jon Berk... his Mystic 2 in the Timely thread just proves it.

Oh... and Skybolt get an honorable mention for his GGA beauties.

I would nominate RareHighGrade for this award. hail.gif Every time he posts a book I get severe comic book envy.

2. Most Knowledgeable--Jon Berk...beware of the Berk Basement...Uncle Scrooge's Money Bin has nothing on this!

4. Most obnoxious poster--Beerbohm..OO is not a comicbook.Period.Never will be no matter what Beerbohm McSnyder sez.

10. Greatest Boards ...shall we say, arguement? Ponseti vs. Beerbohm.

Back atcha. The OO versus Superman thread was, regardless of how it began, one of the best and most involved threads I've read or participated in on these boards. And one of the funniest.

Am I:

(1) half-mad and confused;

(2) convinced myself that I am a GA comic book collector/dealer;

(3) fighting injustice;

(4) all of the above;

(5) something else.

"Tilting at windmills" is my guess. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

That would be #3 generally (sadly).

Sorry, but that poor windmill didn't do nothin' unjust.

That would be #1.

Hey, can we add a couple more categories? How about?

1.Threads that suck the joy out of comic collecting.

2.Threads that go on and on and on with nasty back and forths.

Unlike some of the fun, good natured threads (like this one and others that feature a lot of comic book scans) there seem to be a few going on all the time that are fairly negative. Once you get involved in one of these it's like quicksand, you just keep getting sucked in.
