PGM: Brave And The Bold 51

This is a nice flat book with very bright color, a couple small spine stresses and a ding in the lower left corner that breaks color in a 1/2 inch long line and shows itself, but doesn't break color for about an inch- I am sure this corner could be pressed out & made to look very high grade - anyone have an opinion? I haven't seen many of this book here or on Ebay, although there are quite a few in census...

great colors and decent corners. the spine stress and LLC crease will probably keep it just below an 8.0.

i've had a hundred of these SA DC's slabbed and i've always sworn that the graders are unconciously tougher on the DC's................. 893whatthe.gif

7.0 tops.

No amount of "pressing" can eliminate or otherwise help the spine creases that DO break color... still a nice comic book! 893applaud-thumb.gif

I was thinking 6.5. Quite a few spine dings.

I wonder if graders are tougher on DCs because they are more colorful and bright, and therefore defects more noticable?

I've always loved this issue of B&B. This is a nice copy, a lot better than the one I have...
