The most expensive of which I PROBABLY won't part with...'cause I'd be looking for $2500 min. each on these...but to give you an idea...are some Alex Ross pieces from MARVELS.

 

Others are B&W pieces on contact camera paper from the negs, some are extremely impossible never to be found limited lithos for the artist, such as a Price Valiant piece I've got or a few Outland pieces...I've even got a Calvin & Hobbes somewhere. Full color, you'll never find these anywhere on the planet.

 

Some are acetate cells from various Marvel comics, some are blow ups to scale b&w from Cerebus or Sin City.

 

Some, like the X-Men 21 spread and 25 cover was taken from the neg to scale from the original art.

Just curious, but did Ross actually sign the painting with a silver marker?

Yes...but it's not an original painting...these are production pieces.

Or, matchprint proofs.

 

This is what is sent to Ross and the editor to approve color on a job before going to press.
