is it better or worse then the FF movie?

 

The FF movie had less pretences to gravity and seriousness, and was only ever intended to be a harmless, childish bit of anodyne fluff for those who either weren't concerned with the source material, or who had assumed that that was what their kids would actually find stimulating, or who had had their brains removed.

 

In terms of entertainment, I'd say they were both equally flaccid, half-baked and pointless.

I plan on getting that $99.00 14 disc box set which includes Superman Returns.

 

 

I bought it last nite at Target for $69.

 

Worth it just for the Superman 2 Donner cut with all the lost Marlon Brando footage.

I for one do still buy DVD's and for that matter we can expand this discussion to Music and CD's/ albums.

My reason?

If I like the work on the film/ disc I want to support it.

 

And to answer the question I will buy the Superman Returns DVD.
