Issue 168 was the last key issue i needed to complete my dd run,

and i didn't want to pay more than $50 for it.

It seems that i was lucky this time

I picked up a copy on the boards here in about 7.5 for $20. I thought it was a great price to plug the whole in my run until I can get a better copy.

Thanks for the heads up. Seller has 100% feedback so you might be able to get some money back if you talk to him. Could you throw up a scan to see how far off he was?

Maybe the 2 very's are what the ++ means?. And the stupid camera watermark convieniently covered it up. Sorry for your loss....

What's strange is that i also purchased three other DD from the same seller.

They were all overgraded by 1 or 2 grade, except issue 168.

Sounds like he was scared to get a blemish on his rating. Good for you!

I had a similar experience with a DD 168 that was "graded" at NM+....

What I got was no better than VF. Lucky for me the guy refunded in full without any problems.

SAD, just sad and then you wonder why honest sellers don't get the prices they deserve with sellers like him and his perfect feedback. E-bay's negative/neutral sytem is seriously flawed.
