PGM Tales of Suspense #48 CGC prescreen #6

Do you think this book makes the cut at VF- 7.5? My notes include small tears bottom edge front and back cover, small tear top edge back cover, spine stress. Thanks again for any assistance.

From the scan an easy 7.5 ... but your description of small tears (pluralis) in bottom FC & BC worries me for this grade depending on how tiny would say that could lower it to 6.5

Marvels during this time period were notorious for this. I have seen them much worse than this

The tears concern me, mostly because there are four of them...otherwise, it looks like a VF....

I would be cautious about this one...I'm guessing with those tears, it just misses the cut...

It's been trimmed on all 3 sides!! It mostly eliminated the tears at the bottom and I wonder if there was any chipping to begin with. Maybe these tears started happening due to the tannning of the cover.

Those tears on the top of the back cover are to numerous I believe along with the other defects to let this go any higher than a 7.0

 

The staples look really nice.

The top staple almost looks like it's been replaced though.
