I've got a few golden age books I need a little help on.....

So anyone's comments on the following book are welcome, thanks.

 

A nice looking book considering it comes from 1944!!!!!

But how bad do you think that dot of discoloration hurts?

I'd say a 6.0, taking off 0.5 for the poop stain on the guy's shoulder...

i'd say around 6.0 as well... but does it get the GA .5 to bring it to 6.5

That's what I wonder...on a book this old I kinda want to take my grade and bump it a bit.

the BC looks real... nice from the scan... very white!

Except for the brown spot, pretty clean, but looks like some noticeable "thumbing"wear on the right side. 5.0 maybe 5.5

I think the overall wrinkly aspect of the book brings it down to a 5.0. For whatever reason, CGC hammers Dells. I have never seen an undergraded CGC Dell at the midgrade level.
