Who put the tribbles in the quadrotritecale?

47 posts in this topic

My favorite Star Trek episode without question is The city on the edge of forever!

It is generally considered the best by reviewers too.

That's definitely one of the best episodes. I also liked "Doomsday Machine", "Amok Time", "Enemy Within", "Balance of Terror", and one that most people don't like much....."Arena".

Balance of Terror rocked!

I don't like tribbles...what a dumb episode

Cute video, but I agree with your sentiments. I never understood why this episode was so highly regarded. The only episode that I disliked more is the one where they picked up those hippie musicians. foreheadslap.gif

" Heading out to eden,

Yeah brother.

Heading out to eden,

Yeah brother.

No more trouble

In my body or my mind.

Goin' to live like a king

On whatever I find.

Eat all the fruit

And throw away the rind.

Yeah brother, yeah.

Steppin' out to eden,

Yeah brother.

Steppin' out to eden,

Yeah brother.

No more trouble

In my body or my mind.

Goin' to live like a king

On whatever I find.

Eat all the fruit

And throw away the rind.

That was a GENIUS episode compared to "Bonk Bonk" (Miri)

Yep, those two were among the worst.

Then there was the "Landru" one where people were "absorbed". screwy.gif

And the super stupid one with the older kid with those powers. He made some woman's face disappear because she was laughing. screwy.gif

And lastly there was the one with the young kids...

"Hail, Hail, Fire and Stone...

Call the Angel we may go...

Far Away...

Long to see...

Friendly Angel Come to Me."

Those were the worst ones.

Number one is the Anti-Universe one where Spock has the beard.

Hands down! No debate! 893naughty-thumb.gif

Number two is the Guardian of Forever when they go back in time to the 1930s.

"Stone Knives and Bear Skins!" 27_laughing.gif

Th hippie episode was the worst ever, slightly worse than 'Spock's Brain."

The tribbles episode was pretty good,I liked when they took it and put the characters from DS9 in it. Amazing.

BRAIN BRAIN....WHAT IS BRAIN!!!?

Yeah, the one with the children taking over the ship was probably one of the bottom 3 episodes.

The only redeeming factor for "Spock's Brain" and the Mudd episodes was that they at least had some hot looking women running around.

Here are my top three...

1) "A Piece of the Action" (Kirk & Spock as gangsters... come on! Who doesn't love that?!)

2) "City of the Edge of Forever" (haunting tale of love and fate *tear*)

3) "Obsession" (one of the first I remember liking back in the 80s... a classic!)

Honorable mention to the one with Lee Merriwether (Lothira). blush.gif

Number one is the Anti-Universe one where Spock has the beard. "Mirror, Mirror" #2

Nimoy did a great job as the evil Spock, but I also have to give credit to Sulu for being downright maniacle! Complete opposite of his real universe self.

Too funny, I have watched and enjoyed ST since the first time as a kid I walked into a friend of my parents house and saw the Enterprise orbiting a red planet on their color TV

Seeing this thread led me to read a few of your favorite episodes.

I then went to Itunes, typed a few words, and 5 minutes later I am watching City on the Edge of forever on my 22" monitor in glorious semi HD

The Internet is really an amazing thing, if you like time wasters and money pits. For only $1.99 I got 53 minutes of a really, really great ST episode, and one I have not seen in many years.

Was the Time portal a prototype for the Stargate movie?

And I agree, it very is a good episode.

Best 2 bucks I ever wasted.

That must have been a fun episode for them to do.
