You know if the back cover was clean and bright I would give 8.0 in my personal book. Sometimes presentation means more to me than technical. So when shopping around I wouldn't pick buy another copy unless it was an 8.5.

 

However technically its a 7.5.

back cover scans are almost always look dirtier than the book in hand. and that staple wear is probably a bit less egregious in hand as well.

 

general wear, including scratches and what appears to be an impact ding in the "W" along with an apparent loss of that "fresh" look puts this book as a 7.5 for me, with about an equal chance at 7.0 and 8.0

 

but if i bought it off eBay as a VF i wouldn't be too upset about it
