When I got Layton to sign my childhood copy, he told me how much he hated this cover. Said his breakdowns were really loose because he was used to inking his own stuff.

Always thought the border to this cover was pretty cool. Also used on a couple other Marvel books.

 

 

The border was actually used on EVERY mainstream book that Marvel published in that particular month. A celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Marvel Universe.
