Nice catch, Nic. If that is a cbc there, then imho we are looking at 8.5/9.0 (the length of the crease being the killer). I had a similar crease on an otherwise NM book that was graded VF+.

Nice catch indeed, it is a cbc, not a printing crease. I still love the book, it's the only flaw on it.

I'd agree, 8.5/9.0 based on crease at bottom. I think it would detract less from grade if crease is caused by overhang. Nice looking book!

It also looks like a small crease at the URC, and a printer's crease on the right side into the logo. Still a nice looking copy, but 8.0/8.5

This really is a beatiful book, and presents much nicer than 8.5, but I believe this grade is fair. Great cover art!
