9.4 - sweet copy.

On the surface--9.4...there's some discoloration on the spine wear the ship is, some staple stress and foxing on the back cover. The corners are extra sharp though, which may keep it at a decent 9.4 rating. 9.2 would be a safer bet for me if I were making a decision to send it to CGC (which I know isn't your intention).

9.4. Is that foxing on the back, and oxidation on the front spine,

or shadows from scanning? I got the same image on some scans I did

that was foxing free. Curious.

 

Oh by the way; that was a very dirty trick gluing the cat's paws to the

stern of the boat. Poor thing is doomed.

It's tough to say, I wouldn't say musty, just has that alluring old comic smell..

I bought it from Greggy as one of his undercopies. That guy has some great books!!!
