[Headless Horseman]

Need a little help on the lower grades these 9 .0'sand 5.0's and 2.0's weren't even in use when I stopped collecting ....( yeah I'm old I really appreciate your timein helping an old timer out.

 

small tear upper edge of top cover 4 very small chips out of the right hand side a little edge roll on the lower along the black area by Caps foot, spine is tight but it looks like someone put a piece of tape on it once upon a time from the lower staple down either that or it's some type of seal really can't tell which one it is or was I know it's hard to judge what it is without actually seeeing it but I have faith in you guys

I was thinking a VG 4.0, but the tape mark and the back corner have me 2nd guessing. Maybe between a 3.0 - 4.0? Someone with more expertise will have to chime in.

What a great book to read. Nice all the way around with an imperfection to keep the price down. I'd say its a 4.0 or VG. That is one ugly scuff area but the whole book looks great otherwise. I'd rather have it than a flimsy no gloss copy with a few wrinkles and creases.

Can the tape residue be cleaned off without it being restoration? I wonder if that'd even be worth it for you. Or what it would cost. Such a nice book besides that stain. I could see a 3.5/4.0.

Bummer . . . 2.5 Tape stain hurts big-time, plus I suspect there was a reason it was taped . . .
