Travel to Canada

Is a passport needed to get into Canada from the U.S. now? And anyone know how long it takes & how much it is, to get a U.S. passport?

If you are a Canadian, you now need a passport to travel over the border. I know you aren't Canadian, but I thought I would put it out there.

It's the sad, sad truth. If you're travelling between the two countries, do yourself a favor and get a passport.

Not sure of the cost as I haven't renewed mine yet, but it takes about 20 days to get one.

Glad to hear you dont need one yet, I only plan to be up there for maybe two days at the most, so I would rather not have to buy a passport now if it can be helped

There's an alternative to having a passport now....if you don't mind submitting a retinal scan.
