Remaindered TPB Masterworks at Barnes and Noble

At the Barnes & Noble in Sacramento's Arden Fair Mall they have the Marvel Masterworks paperbacks, Spiderman Vols 2 and 3, and New X-Men Vol. 1 (GS1, 94-100?) on remainder for $5 each.

 

If you're in the area, you may want to stop by or check out your local B&Ns to see if they did the same.

They were online for $5 too (at least a few weeks ago) and for a little while were $3!

I went out last night and snagged all three.

 

I always though that color would go down in price -

that is why I have only bought pretty much Essesntials until now.

 

I'll read the BW versions and if they are good enough for me to upgrade

to color, I'll just wait for the sale.

 

 

At $5 for a 10 issue volume this is about at the same price

as a regular essential (20-25 issue) volume.

 

(you know there will be kids birthday's and all different type of stuff coming up,

so I should buy more, at $5 a pop you can't lose)

And the kid's birthday thing is ideal for these books. First thing on returning to the office I emailed a friend who's son is nuts for Spiderman. Better he read the classic Ditko stories than the modern junk printed now.
