I have a hard time cracking the $300 barrier when I buy books, even though I buy a lot of them. I really need to set the bar higher and just buy less frequently. Said it was a VG and if it is, I'll be happy. Over guide, but a precursor to the horrific cover that is so sought after. I bought a VG+ (advertised as a VG/F - close enough) copy thru the old Comic Source magazine about 10 years ago for $20, and it had been listed for at least two issues when I decided to buy it.
