seank
More early Archie I love the early, insolent-looking Jughead. Nice book.

SuperBird
Just picked this up at last weekend's Big Apple show. Crowley pedigree. Perfect copy, in ALMOST every way!

Silver Surfer
Impressive art work on that cover.
SuperBird
my new favorite book in my collection. Interior art is of the same quality. But Raboy definitely swipes his own artwork- the Capt. Marvel Jr. cover poses for 4-5 issues are reused in a single action sequence inside.
Timulty
I will say that #27, is one of the nicer ones (tear and all) that I have seen in quite a while. Vice nice pickup, Matt.
SuperBird
Thanks Tim! I'm now an official member of the Fawcett cult.
Durden08
Thanks Tim! I'm now an official member of the Fawcett cult. So how many members are in that cult? You, Timulty.... um, should I stop there? Seriously, those Master Comics Raboy covers are VERY cool. Your #27 is a real nice war cover. Congrats on the pickup! SuperBird
pssstt! It's #35. Thanks! Well, if it's just me and Tim, he can take all the NM CGC ones, and I'll keep on with the beaters. I've actually been looking for these (Raboys) for a few months, and they come up for sale pretty irregularly. Less so than Action WW2 covers. Durden08
pssstt! It's #35. I blame Timulty, as he called it issue #27 first. Still a great book. You're right about not seeing the good covers come up for sale very often, as it appears to be a challenging title to collect in any grade. Timulty
My bad, I say the 27 and thought it was issue #27. Dee, Dee, DEeeeeeee!!!
SuperBird
Mind of Mencia = f'ing brilliant! Timulty, YOU of all people should know the cover to Master 27! What kind of Fawcett collector are you?!?
Timulty
Actually, GA Captain Marvel Jr. comics are a weakness in that regard. I don't collect them and aside from great interior artwork do little for me. I do keep track of what shows up just because every frickin search engine pulls CMJ issues when I search on the word "Captain Marvel" . So please, don't think I am an expert on Fawcett books in general. I pretty much stick to the Big Red Cheese(not the smelly little Blue Cheese).
