This one just arrived today. I've wanted a nice, presentable copy of this one for a while, but they've usually been VG or lower available and usually priced higher than I wanted to go. This one fit my needs just fine. The origin of Dollgirl is lame, but the cover is just classic to me. :cloud9:

Very nice. And it's the rare Doll Man bondage cover where Doll Man is not the one in bondage! lol

Nice book, but upon studying it, I now wonder why Wonder Woman was fighting in World War I when the book came out fairly early in the US's involvement in World War II.

As i understand it, at the beginning of the war American troops were under-equipped and ill-prepared for the fight. They were using horses and their gear was leftover WWI stuff. So, actually, it may be accurate for the start of the conflict.
IIRC, the US Army at the beginning of 1939 was only 100,000 strong and the rapid expansion of US Forces (some of which occurred prior to our entry into the war) strained the ability to equip troops with the latest weapons.

We didn't deploy any substantial cavalry units in the war but many other countries did. The Russian army include Cossack cavalry units through the end of the war and much of the German supplies were moved off of the train depots to the the front lines via horse-drawn vehicles. The US was the only power with both oil and the industrial capacity to have a fully mechanized supply line.

Nice book, Bill (thumbs u

Jealous, but I just don't have that sort of cash right now. Great book!

Thanks Andy. My only dilemma now will be whether to crack it out or keep it entombed

Or count the days until you trade it to me. :insane:

Beauty Pons! Is that part of your forgotten keys set?

Sort of, but WW1 is a little less forgotten than the others in the set
