MrBedrock
Bought this from the for sale forum today. So it won't be here for a while. I'm thrilled to get it though, as I have a very personal connection to this book. Ruben bought it from me years ago. Apparently he had it restored as it was from an original owner collection when I had obtained it. I've been on the lookout over the years for a book from the collection and haven't found a single one until today. I recognized it by the red grease pencil markings. Some of my old geek buddies might recognize it as well Same collection as the Action 1?

When it arrives you should do a YouTube video cracking it out of prison. Now, turning my attention to cheetah's latest acquisition, ...we need more CATnip! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I stepped a bit outside my usual run of titles but have added this to my micro-sized collection of Denver peds. sorry you let the hello pal 1 slip by now, aren't you? very nice book, sir. I was holding out for the 50% off sale on the Mile High copy at Metro. No, that wont be until the next century. I love it when Metro offer a $50 discount on a $5000 book. It's such an incentive. [font:Times New Roman]Great book, Jeff. High grade and nice PQ. Below, my latest addition (alas, not the whole kitten kaboodle): Just in the Cat-house, with many thanks to Vintage Roy & Danielle/Filter Comics...

It would look like a 12 or a 13 from book to book. The one on the Detective #12 is a dead ringer for the one on the Action

Cat-Man_America
[font:Times New Roman]Those are pretty books, Jeff. Here's a raw ungraded copy of Airboy that I've had for a half dozen years and just scanned (it may also be a pedigree). It's the first part of the classic two-part rat story. This copy has a non-color breaking crease (lower right) that might press out. With a little luck it might come back dressed to the 9's by CGC if I ever get around to submitting it...

Arkadin
Ho-LEE Crunk! I've had plenty of sections over the years but never a TAB. I really REALLY want one now.... What areas were they distributed through, want papers? The only ones I've seen are from the:Philadelphia Bulletin, Philadelphia Record and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Lucky Philly readers back in the day!

This book was in a collection I bought from an original owner in 1996 that contained a couple of hundred golden age books, included Action 1 - 10.
