This is for me one of those covers - you know, when you first opened the photojournal, it went straight onto my "must find a copy" list. IMHO a classic cover. Found a low grade copy on Ebay fairly quickly, then foolishly sold it, thinking I'd get an upgrade without too much trouble...that was about 6 years ago. So here at last, the ultra scarce Sure Fire #3 (#4), back in my hot li'l hands. If there is an Edgar Church copy I imagine it would easily top this, but otherwise, as good as I could possibly hope for (highest of 2 CGC-graded copies) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know just what you mean about seeing it in the photojournals. Same thing happened to me. I was astonished to see the book for the first time, and eventually located a copy. It is long since gone. Electron Posted May 8, 2011 Share Posted May 8, 2011 Saturday started off with a bang when I took my boys(7&10) to see the 10am showing of Thor.We thought the movie was just wonderful and recounted our favorite parts over lunch afterward.By the time they downed their last chicken finger,they were begging to head for the local comic shop,and it sure wasn't hard to twist my arm.Both kids got a stack of thirty comics from the 50cent boxes,and I spotted this little gem on the wall.All in all a priceless day.
