Silver Surfer
It seems a bunch of folks got together to make this a comic book weekend! Hope everyone had fun. During our gathering there was a little accident and a couple of my boxes spilled. Amazingly, some of the books leaned themselves up against boxes, while other spread out into a nice display across the floor. I'm still a little bit bewildered...................... Marvel Mystery Annual and in nice shape.

Apotheosis
Oooh... is that a Captain Marvel #19 that I spy in that group pic? If so do you have a scan of it? It is, and I will by the end of the day! (just for you)

(just for you) That's the same one that caught my eye as well (one of my favorite covers); that and the #11, not to mention Timulty's favorite Whiz #19 hiding on the bottom of the pic! Great "mess" you have there!

Ivanko
I love that cover. Something about it makes me want to drink hot cocoa. Edited May 7, 2007 by Ivanko
Silver Surfer
Well here is the result but I must say that this is he best 6.0 I have ever seen. I do believe that CGC was over the top with the grade deductions given the somewhat minor defects.
october
If I got a slabbed 6.0 in the mail and it looked like that, I would krap myself. A perfect example of why technical grade should take a back seat to freshness, presentation and eye appeal. Luckily I am one of the few who sees things that way, which has allowed me to get a whole lot of nice books at a fraction of the "high grade" price. Anyway, big kudos to Ken (Inaflash) for this one. Thanks a lot!

october
My favorite cover of the run. Thanks for sharing! I think it's mine too, though 66 gives it a run for its money. Gotta love Whitman's art.
Scrooge
My favorite cover of the run. Thanks for sharing! I think it's mine too, though 66 gives it a run for its money. Gotta love Whitman's art. Yes, Whitman's mastery of human anatomy strikes me again and again every time I see him easily contorting bodies in a realistic manner like on that Planet cover.
