Wall-Crawler
Thanks everyone, glad you like it! As for the treadmill it belong to my girlfriend and even if she don't use it, this is so heavy that we can't climb it upstair !!! Erik B, That is one stellar comic room... Question for boardies...How do you insure your collection? Thanks! Well I don't I know one day I absolutely make a list of everything and check for an insurance company. I know there is some in the US that insure comics, but here in Canada and moslty québec I don't think so. Yeah, I heard about that collectible insurance company and I have always wondered about the whole insuring collectibles thing. I was just wondering b/c you have some great stuff and while my stuff is replaceable, it would be hard for me to do so...I gave my insurance company a list of all of my key books and estimated value and cited GPA is quoted as it can at least offer some kind of 'fair market value' as opposed to the $0.12 that is listed on the cover or the basic going rate of a modern comic book cover price. I just hope I never have to actually deal with that problem...

Very impressed. !!! Totally forgot, next time The swords are a nice touch..... Thanks! This is my little martial art place with a frame poster of Shi on the wall. I wanted to place others things there like my others Marvel Statues but I think I will keep it that way. Maybe some or you wonder what I use to hold my CGC comics on the wall? In my comic room, I got something similar as heymikesays for placing them on the wall. I have go to a home improvement specialty retailer (Rona or Home Depot) and while searching for someting in the house building department, I found this : This is PVC and 8 feet long. It was perfect for REGULAR CGC comics case size. But for my Silver Surfer #4, the case don't fit since the case is larger. I also simply brought some tape that can stick to both side and that's all. Really easy to do and not very costly.

collector_bill
I have my eye on this from Ikea , I'd need 2 or 3 , but you could put figures in the top and comics in the baskets , it looks cool in real life .

50YrsCollctngCmcs
Does anyone have suggestions in regard to dimensions for shelves in a comic closet? I am in the middle of a re-model and have a dedicated closet assigned for the books. My collection is mainly unslabbed bronze and Golden Age with a sprinkling of CGC books. I also have a nice book collection of miscellaneous sizes I've gathered over the years. I'm looking for recommended dimensions on shelf heights. I use standard boxes from Bill Cole. Keysnruns
Not my room but... happened on a store in the Akron area, "The Toys That Time Forgot." When I saw the statues, thought of this thread. Took pics as I walked around the display. Sorry for pics quality, just had my iPhone with me. Enjoy.

The cabinet they are sitting on is awesome as well. I'm guessing that was custom built?

Not certain, but assume it was custom built as the long sides had top-bottom comic drawers and short ends had display shelves for books and games.
