Oh man, I was there on Thursday! Not that I would have known you if I had seen you, but still, that would make for a ... well, it would make for something, anyway.

 

Hmmm...me and the "Sleep" boys would have had to taken you out back and given you "a real New York welcome"!! [insert comic book fight scene sound effects here] "And this one's for that "Balki, the insufficiently_thoughtful_person man-child" crack! Wap!! Bam!! Pow!!"

If you would have done that, I would have gladly loaned you my hotel room while I was recuperating in the hospital! (Please, pay no attention to the girl's body being wheeled out through the lobby.)

 

 

That's right. There was a murder in our hotel while we were there. And a mugging right in front of the airport. It was classic New York, baby!

I can't wait to go back... any town where you can get hot dogs at 2 in the morning is alllll right by me.

 

Of course, I could also have recommended some Broadway shows for you... "Take Me Out" is absolutely hysterical and really, REALLY great if you like baseball; and it's even better if you like naked men.

As for NY, it's the best. Hot dogs at 2 a.m.? Hell, you can get ANYTHING in NY at 2 a.m. - it's truly the city that never naps.

 

My uncle once offered to take me to "The Umbrella Room" for lunch while I was visiting Manhattan... we ended up at one of the Sabrett's (sp?) hot dog stands with the big yellow/blue umbrella
