I was thinking of the Timely Mystic Comics version. The Nazi fighter, with the clown pants and white face.

The Green Turtle from Blazing Comics with the odd smiley-face shadow that would follow him around.

 

I was almost going to mention that! He's weird, but in a so weird he's almost cool kinda way.

I like a lot of the nominations here, but I have to go with Dicky with the decapitating whip.

The easy anwswer is Spectre...vengeful hand of God and all that.

 

But for my money it is still Batman. Intellect and bravery is all he really has.

 

I definitely must go with The Spectre. So cool and beyond mystical.
