I was wondering, are there any comic strip collectors among you?

If so, what do you collect?

Love the Little Nemo Sundays, have a few tucked aside with great paper quality, also a few Krazy Kat tabs from the early 40's. Fantastic stuff! :cloud9:

Bored?

Can't believe you have a full week of work in front of you?

Then take a break.

Try to solve this challenge.

Name the comic and issue number of where this image appears on the cover.

Gorgeous! :applause:

I gotta admit, I thought it a had a Fiction House look to it at first, but after exhausting all the Wings covers I had to look for something else.

I'm impressed.

I own the comic but it still probably would have taken me all day to have figured it out.

It's a tough one (tsk)

It just shows I'm no judge of what is going to be difficult.

Others that I thought would be hard, have been solved quickly and this one that I thought would be super easy has already taken longer than any of the previous quizzes. (shrug)

I have poor memory about GA gals' outfits. Red shorts like that aren't plentiful but I can't place them. The shoes got me looking at late Startling Comics. They match but it's not the same girl. Still looking ... The GGA guys will be all over that one in no time though ...

I can start giving clues whenever you think enough time has passed.

America's Best Comics # 25

FINALLY.

Congratulations, Fuelman.

:applause: :applause: :applause:

This one took over 5 hours to be solved.

I thought it was going to be 5-10 minutes.

I recognized it right off, just had to make sure which title. :acclaim:

America's Best Comics # 25

:applause:

:pullhair: I had the right publisher, just looked up the wrong series (Black Terror, Exciting, Startling ...) I forgot she appeared on ABC (plus I did have to do some work :P) I'm still glad I had the right artist. Schomburg's shoes are characteristic and he always likes to have the gal's feet rammed and jammed in them!
