jbcomicbox
great series of books with a weird publishing history... That's a fantastic piece of art, Jon. I wish I owned more original Golden Age artwork. Ah, "more GA art" means that you have "some GA art". Since your material is so great, I wonder if you can share (at least by words) what you have. If your rather not, that is fine or simply PM me. I am always curious as to what has survived. I am (surprise, surprise) just a huge fan of this time period. As to the acquistion of the cover, like everything else, 'right time, right place'. jon

adamstrange
Beautiful Skeleton army! Ditto. The barbecue was a bit unorthodox but certainly added to the fun.
TheEyeSees
Been away for a few days, and there is just too much to comment on. Its great to see Everett, Guardineer, Wolverton, Cole, etc. continually get the respect they deserve. They were all wonderful artistic visionaries. Great stuff guys!!! Scrooge
As much as I love the mid-tier panel of the skeleton army battle, I am also attracted by Guardineer's character design such as the one below. When I look at it, I have visions of Hugo Pratt at the same time. That's good company! P.S.: Love the new avatar (thumbs u
whetteon
Did anyone see those Silver Streak 6 and 7 for sale on eBay last week? Last I remember they were way over $1200 a piece. Edited September 11, 2007 by whet

Scrooge
I can't let this thread fall to the second page. You know ... I would have been immensely mad if I couldn't find the next issue of that book to continue the story as a kid in 1939. For that matter, who can tell me what happened?
