ciorac
Nice. I didn't know DC and Marvel had their own cons. I do remember there was an EC convention along about 1973. Phil Seuling chaired the DC con, along with Sol Harrison. Paul Levitz and Janette Kahn helped organize it. The keynote speaker was Sheldon Mayer. Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Jack Kirby, John Buscema, and others were at the Marvel Con. There are some great pictures in the programs. Including one of Max Gaines blowing up a Superman baloon while holding a cigarette.
selegue
Which Space Adventures is this from? Too many to choose from at the GA UK site! Thanks, Jack Christmas is over and all that is left are the bills to pay... unless you are going out for New Years Day and in Philadelphia that means Mummers. Are there any other Mummer stories? bb

BangZoom
I found this comic in the Heritage Auction Archives. I think it's a great cover so I'm using it for the last Quiz of 2008. These images are from the cover of what GA comic?

BB-Gun
I like the Nedor covers, especially the Schomburgs, but the interior art isn't as good as Harvey or DC. The later issues seem to be better due to Meskin and Robinson and others. I noticed these GA.uk scans of Wonder 17 with a really nice splash (and super cover). bb
