Lower center cover under the "K" is this a rip? Scuff? My guess is somewhere between a 2 and an 8, no worse than a 1.5 but higher than a 3.

 

On a serious note I think 7 is safe based on the wear I see on the black cover, which looks like it has lost some gloss, the staple, rounded corner. Of course no back cover scan makes it difficult, and if this is a rip on the bottom then maybe it is closer to a 6--but I'm pretty sure it's not an 8 or higher.
