I agree. The cost is a little more than prohibitive, especially for only one credit, but the fact that it is offered is another example of comics garnering more attention by the academy.

To save $$, the students will be sleeping outdoors on the Coronado Beach as part of their sweaty comic culture experience as there are no decent hotel rooms left.

Also earn credits for at the San Diego comic-Con for:

 

Bathing 101a...learn how to use soap and water, and at the same time, shower with a friend and be PC and save water.

 

Deoderant 101b...the proper application of a stick or spray on deoderant.

Prerequisite: a passing grade in Bathing 101

 

Brushing Your Teeth 101...must purchase from student bookstore the following: toothbrush,dental floss and toothpaste..instruction by licensed dental hygenist.

Also learn how to aim properly into the spit bowl without splashing onto the hygenists feet.

 

Fashion 101...Learn how to influence and attract Con babes with snappy sayings on T-shirts. Prerequisites: You must weigh at least 250 lbs and supple your own T-shirts at least two sizes too small. Stained T-shirts optional (see next listed class)

 

Eating with your Mouth Closed 101 Learn to tackle this difficult process utilizing different junk foods. Visit local eateries to hone your skills. Pizza Hut, Jack-in-the-box, Denny's and Taco Bell. Maalox purchase optional but suggested.

 

Housing 101 Learn how to freeload off your friends and learn the fine n techniques on how to sleep on their floor in their paid for hotel rooms.

An additional course will also be offered on How to Sleep Under a Car in the Parking Lot 201 (Housing 201).

NOTE: Must finish and have passing grade in lower division class before enrolling in 201.

Taught by noted experienced Canadian collector.

 

How to Wear Your Hair in a Ponytail and Still Look Professional. Class materials: Must purchase ill-fitting shiney green suit and loud tie. All classes will be conducted at local bars.
