Might eek out a 6.0 Fine. It looks like the back spine corners are "chewed up" a bit?

Nope, no chewing.

 

Major problems are the color break in the ULC of the cover and the tick out of the URC above the CCA stamp.

 

My question is would that allow the possibility of a 7.0?

I may be off base, so someone else might chime in and say a 7.0 could be correct. The corners are what drops it for me.

This is easily a 7.0, at least according to the 2nd edition of the grading guide. I would say 7.5.

My opinion is a solid 7.0. The wear at the lower left corner (visible from the back, especially) and the stuff on the front at the upper edge next to the left corner bring it down. Other than these areas, it is a beautiful copy.
