The one on Mile High and the Dallas Stevens copy are both green.

Therefore, these HAVE to be the rare version. tongue.gif

Looks like a stray piece of tape during the production of the cover that prevented the area from printing the cyan.

Pretty common for a mistake like that back in the day.

I'd say this is not the only book with something like this.

Look at the FF 110. Transposed two negatives to create an error.

It's far more common than many people know.

Depending on when, in the production of the cover this was found, as to how many of each version there is.

It would be pretty tough to determine which was the rarer one.

good to know the facts behind the making of this "variant"...I have the FF 110 as well and it is cool to look at side by side with the regular since it affects the whole cover.

Thanks for checking and congrats on the high grade - did yours come with the label notation like on stackwizards "Two different color labels exist"???

No, it doesn't have any notation. I bought mine off ebay in March of this year. If the "high grade king" did actually inform CGC of such a variant/printing error, it would make sense only his books (and all others slabbed after this) would have the variant note. Mine is the "no-variant-note-CGC-variant"!!!!!

Good luck to all.

I'm just curious how much the FF 110 error goes for.

I wouldn't mind having one of those as well.

For...whatever reason.

It's definately different.

i saw his(stckwizard) auctions yesterday, and what befuddles me is that if he has CGC graded books, then why in the is grading such ? confused.gif893frustrated.gifmakepoint.gifconfused-smiley-013.gif

From the auctions of his that I've seen, those have to be his two best books.

Must be why he wanted to get them graded.

I just one 3 $1 auctions from him - all "high grade" Subbys wink.gifsmile.gif

Sometimes, things don't transfer by "osmosis" as Stan Lee put it on the Daredevil DVd interview smile.gif Just because you use CGc doesn't mean you can or ever will learn how to grade. frown.gif

Our favorite "high grade" seller has discovered a new variant:

Iron Man 15 rarer green variant?

More common Iron Man 15 yellow variant?

Anyone with this book want to confirm?

Darth, mines green. Now I'm not sure which is rarer, but there does seem to be more green ones around than the yellow ones. Well, except for the blue one Araich has.

(For real Araich, or just kidding?)
