Johnny Cash - Ghost Riders In the Sky

As the riders loped on by him he heard one call his name

If you want to save your soul from Hell a-riding on our range

Then cowboy change your ways today or with us you will ride

Trying to catch the Devil's herd, across these endless skies

Yippie yi Ohhhhh

Yippie yi Yaaaaay

Ghost Rider motor cycle hero

Baby, baby, baby, baby, he's a blazin' away

Like the stars, stars, stars in the universe, yeah!

Baby, baby, baby, baby, he's lookin' so cute, yeah!

ridin' around in a blue jump suit, yeah!

Baby, baby, baby, baby, he's screamin' the truth!

America is killin' its youth!

cause he is cryin', dyin', chokin', drownin'

Going to jail, going to jail, going to jail

I see him dyin'! Dyin'!! Ohhhhhhh

He's ridin' through town with his head on fire

He's ridin' through town with his head on fire!!

head on burnin' eyes all tired

head on burnin' eyes all tired

Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider!!

never stop ridin'

One song my dad used to love when I was a kid was a country song called "Do You Remember These?" by the Statler Brothers

Part of the lyrics I always remembered were:

Gable's charm, Frog in your arm, loud mufflers, pitchin' woo,

Going steady, Veronica and Betty , white bucks, and "Blue Suede Shoes"

Knock Knock jokes, and "Who's there?", Dewey, Dewey who?;

Do we, do we remember these? Yes, we do, Ahh do we do we remember these?

Here are a few that come to mind:

"Fool's Overture" by Supertramp: "Joker man, Spider-Man, blue eyed meanie"

"Carpet Crawlers" by Genesis: "Mild-mannered Supermen are held in Kryptonite"

"Sunshine Superman" by Donovan: "Superman or Green Lantern ain't got a-nothin' on me"

"Superman Inside" by Eric Clapton: (same lyric as title)

method man doesn't rap "swingin through your hood like a neighborhood spiderman"

it's actually inspectah deck

I think you're both right. On the 36 Chamber Album it was ID. I think Meth sang the same on the Tical album, but I'm not 100%.

He definitely sang something like "Flame On! Like the Human Torch, Fantastic Four..." on the Tical album. Can't recall the song title at the moment.

Oh, and to back track on posts, agree with the poster that said the best comci song ever is "I Am the Law". headbang.gif

Fifteen years in the academy

He was like no cadet they'd ever seen

A man so hard, his veins bleed ice

And when he speaks he never says it twice

They call him Judge, his last name is Dredd

So break the law, and you may wind up dead

Truth and justice are what he's fighting for

Judge Dredd the man, he is the law

DROKK IT

With his gun and bike he rules the streets

And every perp he meets will taste defeat

Not even Death can overcome his might

Cause Dredd and Anderson, they won the fight

When the Sov's started the Apocalypse war

And Mega-city was bombed to the floor

Dredd resisted, and the judges fought back

And crushed the Sov's with their counter-attack

DROKK IT

[PRE-CHORUS:]

Respect the badge - he earned it with his blood

Fear the gun - your sentence may be death

because ...

[CHORUS:]

I AM THE LAW

And you won't *spoon* around no more - I AM THE LAW

I judge the rich, I judge the poor - I AM THE LAW

Commit a crime I'll lock the door - I AM THE LAW

Because in Mega-City ...

I AM THE LAW

In the cursed earth where mutants dwell

There is no law, it's just a living hell

Anarchy and chaos as the blood runs red

But this would change if it was up to Dredd

The book of law is the bible to him

And any crime committed is a sin

He keeps the peace whith his law-giver

Judge, jury, and executioner

DROKK IT

[REPEAT PRE-CHORUS]

[REPEAT CHORUS]

[bRIDGE:]

CRIME - the ultimate sin

Your Iso-Cube is waiting when he brings you in

LAW - it's what he stands for

Crime's his only enemy and he's going to war

[LEAD BREAK]

[REPEAT BRIDGE]

[REPEAT PRE-CHORUS]

[REPEAT CHORUS]

That's actually a cover of a Suicide song, probably their signature tune.

Jay-z Kingdom Come lyrics (this is from different parts of the song) Quite a few comic references, which I capitalized.

Now I'm so enlightened I might glow in the dark

I been up in the office you might know him as CLARK

Just when you thought the whole world fell apart, I

Take off the blazer loosen up the tie

Step inside the booth SUPERMAN is alive

And it's much bigger issues in the world I know

But I first had to take care of the world I know

I'm from the bottom so I still feel im from the bottom

Underdog before my cake and still couldn't stop him

FLASH GORDON bring my cords and spark the light in the dark

PETER PARK SPIDER-MAN all I do is climb the charts art

I run the streets the streets don't run we

Y'all run we chill still waters run deep

I repeat sing along with me

I run the streets the streets don't run we

Ladies sayin' where you been Superman

When &*%)#$ spendin' 10 million and media on my hands

The BRUCE WAYNE of the game have no fear

When you need me just throw your Roc signs in the air, yeah

Binary Star "Conquistadors":

"Binary Star battle your villainous characters to the end

with poet heroics like Super Friends

Bruce Wayne & Grayson, dynamic combination..."

"My crew are Decepticons, Transform!

My trigger hand's warm, holding the mic like Megatron..."
