The next edition of Grails Game will take place right here tomorrow, August 16 at approximately 10:00 a.m Pacific Time.

 

OK, everybody. Here we go!

 

For those of you who told your grade school math teachers that algebra would never be useful in real life, here is the chance for your teachers to say, "I told you so."

 

Using the formula ax + by = c

a = the issue number of Amazing Spider-Man where Gwen Stacy dies.

x = the issue number of Fantastic Four where Silver Surfer first appears

b = the issue number of Incredible Hulk where Wolverine makes his first full appearance - [not a cameo!]

y = the issue number of Amazing Spider-Man where the Punisher makes his first appearance

Solve for c

 

The first one to post the correct answer in this thread wins the beautiful Alex Ross book pictured below. And, yes the irony of using Marvel questions to give away a DC book was intentional :)
