Late as usual but the game is afoot!

The game will be posted next week on Thursday, August 7.

Exact time will be posted soon.

This will give you some time to do your homework.

You won't stand a chance in this game unless you've read it. Google will fail you.

Good luck gamers.

Oh, the prize.

Your choice of a new PS4 or XBOX ONE.

And here is the time: 1930 Pacific Standard

So I'm assuming the game is explained once it officially starts? I'm sorry this is very new to me. Instant winner like first correct answer or more marathon style ie points accumulated in the spirit of the book?

Okay, I changed things up a bit to allow more people to play. Simplified it because I really thought it would take weeks to solve it. I got rid of the cryptogram as well since I had already done that in a previous GG. So for all the new players (its been a while since the last game) I want to make this painless and fun.

The answer to this Grails Game is the name of a character in the novel Ready Player One. You have to post the first and last name spelled correctly of course.

You can "enter" as many times as you like. But instead of taking time trying to list every character in the book, you can solve the game faster by figuring out the clue.

My next post is coming in 3 minutes. It will seem odd. There will be no instruction. All I can say is that all the information you need to come up with the answer (the name) will be in that post.

First one to post the name of the character I'm looking for wins. No edited posts. Gamers police yourselves. If you post a name that you find is incorrect, do not edit, just make a new post with a new name. Good luck.

This post was made by COI on June 26, 2004. The answer is here.

won't necessarily publicly advocate spending it on booze and dope instead of comics...

27_laughing.gif I wouldn't either, but I was just making the point that you made about memories with friends, allbeit in a much cruder way. I myself never really touched dope(just booze wink.gif), but if you're going to do that stuff(responsibly), high school is the time. I can't tell you how many "adults" I see in our age bracket(mid-20's-early 30's) who are just now acting out, sewing their wild oats, because they didn't do it then. And they're slowly F'in up their lives as a result.

For me, I needed money to go out and do things in high school... $400 was a lot of money back then (okay, it still is a lot of money)... i mean how many dates would that have gotten you on? quite a few... and then of course usually leading to extra curricular activities afterwards.

At that time, for me, $400(almost $600 Canuck) was an ungodly amount of money. At 15, it was an acomplishment if I could get my hands on a 20 dollar bill.
