What's the Pittsburgh show like? We need a report.

went to the show only on Friday ..

 

many guest appearances were on the cancelled list posted by the ticket counter ..

 

several dealer noshows as well .. noteably Bob Beerbohm and Motor City ..

 

mostly dealer to dealer sales/trades .. general public attendance light

 

took a sidetrip to Eides store, which was having a 40% off back issue sale ..

Fridays usually have light attendance for this show. I went on Saturday and was surprised at the relatively light attendance. I was able to find a few books to buy though, including a personal grail.

 

The no-shows were disappointing. I hope this doesn't signal the demise of this show in coming years.

It seems to be on a gradual decline, even though the comic guest list is usually pretty good. I wonder what's not working? Does it compete with another show that is better?
