and what happened to that copy of Action #47 ? popcorn.gif

Stupidly sold it to Ken Stribling, along with several other Actions, for 1.25 guide. This was a decade ago. High grade Actions had surged in value over guide, and I didn't get the memo. foreheadslap.gif

did you use the money to get another book that you wanted at the time ?

I bought a car. Luckily, I held onto the Church copy of Action #55(the only Action I kept). Stribling tried very hard to pry that out of my hands, but I refused. Years later, I sold it to a collector for a tidy sum.

If I was stranded on an island with one book, I'd much rather stare at Phantom Lady than Batman any day of the week. tongue.gif

Point well taken. Taking your lead, I would hide this one inside the Tec 27...(course I would have to crack it first)

but, over time, couldn't that distracting woman in the background spoil your fun if she kept peeping while you were doing your thing with bruce wayne sans costume and clothes? don't you have any loincloth covers with guys ONLY?

Sadly no, you cornered the market on those years ago, silly man you knew that! poke2.gif

Strib might still have them. Call him and see! He was down here recently and we had lunch and caught up. Great guy.

I agree with the Phantom Lady choice, but not necessarily the issue. I will take issue #23 any day over the #17. One day I will come accross a nice CGC 8.0 copy and never let it go. cloud9.gif
