Millie the Model question

7 posts in this topic

Hi all, I have a copy of Millie the Model 3 and there is only one staple and it's in the center of the spine. Is that normal for this book or do I have some sort of Franken-comic?

Thanks.

Hi,

sounds normal for a Dec. 1946 cover-dated book. It's quite common in that post-WW II to have single staple books. I doubt it's franken.

Good to know, thanks guys! thumbsup2.gif

I had never seen that before but then again I don't own many pre-1960 books,

Millie #3 also has the first appearance of Chili. I haven't found that documented anywhere, but then key appearances in humor books have never been documented very well.
