Just got this one. No hidden defects, other than that the paper is light tan (no brittleness).

wow! nice book. i'd give it a 6.5

I'd say 6.0 due to the accumulation of so many small stress lines on the spine. Maybe it would get a soft 6.5? Nice book, it presents well!

There appears to be a rather significant water stain to the left side of the BC, starting at the "O" in NOW, and running down to "Fuel!", along with rippling along that same edge.

 

In addition to the dust shadowing at the ULBC and LLBC, there is significant spine creasing visible on the REBC. There is no way in h-e-double-l that this book grades a 6.0 Sorry . . .

 

Don't know what the others are smoking.

 

4.0 and possibly 3.5 in hand due to water damage.

ooops - missed the "tide line"

Good spot on the back defects. There is also a crease on the LLC of the back.

 

The moisture "shadow" is barely detectable in hand, much more evident in the scan. But it is present.

 

I had this book pegged at about a 5.0, and I think that's still what I'd go with.

Good eye, Divad. I'd still go with around a 4.5 though.
