These images I grabbed from a current ebay auction. It looks trimmed to me but I dunno.

Not 100% sure, but it's possible. Something about the way the top spine corner is fuzzy/rounded, but the top edge is razor sharp.

 

Unless you trust the seller I'd probably steer clear.

There's absolutely no way to tell from a scan, unless you have before and after pix.

I have a couple Tales of Suspense that I suspect have been trimmed along the top edge but can't be sure.

I think ASM 33 is one of those issues infamous for bad mis-cuts.

I don't know there was a restored 9.8 going around of that issue that was fetching only around 120 USD or so on auction wins. I don't know who won the book but that would be a one in 100 case where cracking the case would prove more valuable in a sale as the restored label would be gone and just a sweet looking ASM33 left over. Be cautious when you see nice looking unslabbed books!
