What is wrong here?

15 posts in this topic

Okay...

So I had an ASM 252 CGC graded at 9.6 on ebay - which did not make reserve @ $41.00 My Auction

less than 10 days ago - a 9.4 sold for $43 9.4 sale

and 2 weeks ago another 9.4 went for $46 9.4 sale 2

Am I doing something wrong here? What the heck?

Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated.

IS a 19.99 starting price and $50 reserve really that high for a 9.6?

Maybe could it be the high BIN?

I've always wondered if that makes people think the reserve is higher than it should be.

You could lower you starting bid and see what happens...Personally for a book like this I wouldn't have a reserve at all. You would get a lot more bidding activity without one, and whats the most you could lose?

You should have started the bidding at $9.99 since it is not only cheaper but it would have a better chance of initiating a bidding frenzy... wink.gif
